4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The Walfront AS804 requires three (3) 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries (not included).

1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu.
2. Feu lliscar la tapa cap avall per obrir el compartiment.
3. Insert three AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Torneu a col·locar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria fent-la lliscar fins que faci clic de manera segura.

4.2 Engegada/apagada

• Per encendre: Premeu el botó Poder button (labeled 'Switch' in Figure 3.1). The LCD display will illuminate.
• Per apagar: Manteniu premut el botó Poder botó durant uns segons fins que la pantalla s'apagui.
• Apagat automàtic: El dispositiu s'apagarà automàticament després d'aproximadament 3 minuts d'inactivitat per estalviar bateria.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Basic Sound Level Measurement

1. Ensure batteries are installed and power on the device.
2. Hold the sound level meter with the microphone pointed towards the sound source you wish to measure. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the microphone.
3. The current sound level in dBA will be displayed on the LCD screen. The reading updates rapidly to show real-time sound fluctuations.

5.2 Max/Min Measurement

A view the maximum or minimum sound level recorded during a measurement session:

• While the device is measuring, press the Màx./Min botó.
• The display will show the maximum sound level recorded since the device was powered on or the Max/Min function was reset.
• Premeu el botó Màx./Min button again to display the minimum sound level recorded.
• Press it a third time to return to real-time measurement.

5.3 Funció de retenció de dades

Per congelar la lectura actual a la pantalla:

• Premeu el botó Aguanta button (Numerical Lock). The current reading will remain on the screen.
• Premeu el botó Aguanta button again to release the hold and resume real-time measurement.

5.4 Funció de retroiluminació

To activate the display backlight for better visibility:

• Premeu el botó Llum de fons button (light bulb icon). The display will illuminate.
• Premeu el botó Llum de fons button again to turn off the backlight.

6.1 Neteja

• Netegeu el dispositiu casinamb un drap suau i sec.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these may damage the casing o components interns.
• Keep the microphone area clean and free from dust or debris.

6.2 Emmagatzematge

• When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the device.
• Guardeu el dispositiu en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
