WARNING: This is a self-installation product. Incorrect assembly or wiring can lead to severe damage to the battery, tool, or personal injury. Proceed only if you possess the necessary technical skills and understanding of lithium-ion battery circuitry and safety protocols. The battery pack requires connection to an existing protection board (BMS) from your original tool battery.

1. Preparació:
   • Ensure your workspace is clean, well-lit, and free of conductive materials.
   • Gather necessary tools: insulated screwdrivers, wire cutters, soldering iron (if required for BMS connection), heat shrink tubing, multimeter.

2. Disassemble Original Battery Pack:

   • Identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals, as well as any balance leads connected to the BMS.
   • Safely remove the old battery cells.
3. Inspect New Cells:
   • Verify that all 10 new cells are intact and free from physical damage.
   • Confirm the pre-attached nickel tabs are securely welded.
4. Arrange Cells:
   • Arrange the new cells in the same configuration as the original battery pack (typically 5 series, 2 parallel for 18V). Ensure correct polarity for each cell and series/parallel connection.

5. Connect to BMS (Protection Board):
   • This is the most critical step. The new battery pack deu be connected to the existing, functional BMS from your original battery. The BMS provides overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection.
   • Carefully solder or connect the main positive and negative leads from the new cell pack to the corresponding terminals on the BMS.
   • Connect any balance leads from the cell pack to the appropriate balance ports on the BMS. Refer to your original battery's wiring diagram or photos taken during disassembly. Incorrect balance lead connection can damage the BMS or cells.
