Walfront AS63D Digital Vibration Meter

1. Introducció

The Walfront AS63D Digital Vibration Meter is a high-sensitivity accelerometer vibrometer pen designed for accurate measurement of vibration. 4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the device (refer to Figure 3).
2. Feu lliscar o desenganxeu la tapa per obrir el compartiment.
3. Insert the required batteries (typically AAA, check device markings) ensuring correct polarity (+/-).

4.2 Probe Selection

The AS63D comes with different probe options to suit various measurement conditions:

• Short Probe Tip: This is the factory default. It is suitable for wide-scope vibration measurements and provides good response values.
• Long Probe Tip: Included in the carry box, this tip is designed for measurements in narrow spaces or on special objects, allowing for quick response.
• No Probe Tip: For measurements on smooth object surfaces, the device can be used without a probe tip to obtain stable values.

Select the appropriate probe tip based on your measurement needs and screw it firmly onto the measuring probe connection point.

5. Funcionament

5.1 Encès/Apagat

• Per encendre el dispositiu, premeu breument el botó MEAS/ON botó. La pantalla LCD s'il·luminarà.
• Per apagar el dispositiu, premeu llargament la tecla MEAS/ON button until the display turns off. The device may also have an auto-off feature after a period of inactivity.

5.2 Measurement Mode Selection

• Velocity (V): Measures the speed of vibration.
• Displacement (D): Measures the distance an object moves from its equilibrium position.

5.3 Frequency Characteristic Selection (Acceleration Mode Only)

When in Acceleration mode, press the LO/HI button to select the desired frequency range:

• LO (Low Frequency): For measuring vibrations in lower frequency ranges.
• HI (High Frequency): For measuring vibrations in higher frequency ranges.

5.4 Prendre una mesura

1. Ensure the correct probe tip is attached for your application.
2. Turn on the device by short pressing MEAS/ON.
3. Select the desired measurement mode (Acceleration, Velocity, or Displacement) using the A/V/D botó.
4. If in Acceleration mode, select the appropriate frequency range (LO/HI) using the LO/HI botó.
5. Firmly press the measuring probe against the surface of the object whose vibration you wish to measure.
6. Premeu llargament el botó MEAS/ON button to initiate the measurement. The device will analyze the vibration and display the results on the LCD.
7. Read the displayed value. The LCD backlight ensures clear visibility.
