Before initial use, fully charge your Mi Smart Band 4. Connect the charging cable to the charging contacts on the back of the band and plug the USB end into a power adapter or computer USB port. The band will display a charging icon.

2. Installing the Mi Fit App

The Mi Smart Band 4 requires the Mi Fit app (now known as Zepp Life) for full functionality. Download the app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).

Select 'Workout' from the main menu to choose from various exercise modes, including Outdoor Running, Treadmill, Cycling, Walking, Pool Swimming, and Exercise. The band will track specific metrics for each activity.

The band continuously monitors your heart rate. You can view your current heart rate on the band or check detailed historical data in the app.

Once paired, the band can display notifications for incoming calls, messages, and app alerts from your smartphone. Manage notification settings within the Mi Fit app.
