Introducció

The ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Smart Lock offers a secure and convenient keyless entry solution for your home. This manual provides detailed instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and security.

Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps carefully to install your ULTRALOQ U-Bolt Smart Lock.

1. Preparació de la porta

Ensure your door meets the following dimensions:

• Gruix: Between 1 5/16 inches and 2 inches.
• Diameter of the hole: 2 1/8 polzades.
• Part posterior: 2 3/8 inches or 2 3/4 inches.
• Diameter of the hole in the door edge: 1 polzades.

2. Instal·lació de Bolt and Strike

1. Adjust the bolt length by pressing, twisting, and pulling/pushing to match your door's backset (2 3/8" or 2 3/4").
2. Insert the bolt into the door edge, ensuring the 'UP' icon faces upwards.
3. Secure the deadbolt with Screw C.
4. Install the strike plate into the door frame using Screws A and B.

3. Instal·lació del conjunt exterior

1. If your door thickness is not standard (1 3/4"), cut the tailpiece using pliers according to the provided thickness guide.
2. Keep the tailpiece horizontal and insert it through the middle hole of the bolt.
3. Route the cable through the hole below the bolt.

4. Installing Mounting Plate

1. Pass the cable through the bottom hole of the mounting plate.
2. Ensure the tailpiece goes through the middle hole of the mounting plate.
3. Secure the mounting plate using Screws D. Verify that two lines of the tailpiece are visible outside the hole.

5. Instal·lació del conjunt interior

2. Plug the cable connector firmly into the socket on the interior assembly until you hear a click.
3. Rotate the knob on the interior assembly to a vertical position (unlocked).
4. Carefully tuck the wire inside the door to prevent pinching.
5. Attach the interior assembly to the mounting plate using Screws E.

6. Testing the Bolt

To ensure proper function, manually rotate the knob on the interior assembly a couple of times. The bolt should extend and retract smoothly. Close the door and test again to confirm the bolt matches the strike in the door frame.

7. Installing Batteries and Door Handing Process

1. Rotate the knob on the interior assembly to a horizontal position (locked). The bolt should extend.
2. Insert four AA batteries into the interior assembly. The red LED light will turn on, and you will hear a beep.

The ULTRALOQ app provides comprehensive control and management features:

• Lock and unlock your door remotely (ULTRALOQ Bridge sold separately for remote access).
• Manage user access and authorize family, guests, or tenants with temporary codes or ekeys.
• View access logs to see who entered and when.
• Receive smart notifications for lock activity.

3. Bloqueig automàtic i desbloqueig automàtic

The smart lock automatically locks on a preset timer and unlocks when you arrive at your door with your smartphone. Use the 'ULTRALOQ' button on the keypad for 'One Touch Lock'.

4. Voice Control and Smart Home Integration

The ULTRALOQ U-Bolt supports voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It also works with SmartThings and IFTTT. An ULTRALOQ Bridge (sold separately) is required for these features.

The ULTRALOQ U-Bolt requires 4 AA batteries. The app will provide a low battery alert. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation.

The external Smart Lock is IP65 rated, making it dust and weatherproof. It is built to withstand both heat and cold, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.

Resolució de problemes

• El pany no respon: Check battery levels in the app or replace batteries. Ensure the interior assembly knob is in the correct position.
• Bolt not extending/retracting smoothly: Verify that the installation was done correctly, especially the tailpiece and bolt alignment. Ensure no obstructions in the door frame.
• Remote access issues: Confirm that the ULTRALOQ Bridge (if used) is properly connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and the lock. Ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
• El teclat no funciona: Ensure the keypad is clean and free from debris. Check battery levels.
