1. Introducció

The CEM DT-9030 is a robust and high-quality electrical tester designed to provide fast, accurate, and safe test results for various electrical applications.   • Always inspect the tester for damage before use. Do not use if the probes, cables, or housing are damaged.
  • Ensure your hands are dry and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including insulated gloves and safety glasses.

4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The CEM DT-9030 requires batteries for operation (batteries are not included). To install or replace batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover, typically on the rear of one of the probe units.
  2. Use a suitable tool (e.g., screwdriver) to open the compartment.
  3. Insert the required batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Per mesurar AC o DC voltage:

  1. Ensure the tester is in good working condition.
  2. Carefully apply the L1 and L2 probes to the points where voltage s'ha de mesurar.
  3. The digital display will show the measured voltage valor.
  4. Corresponding LED indicators (e.g., 12V, 230V AC, 400V DC) will illuminate to provide a quick visual reference of the voltage gamma.
  5. The display will also indicate whether the voltage és CA o CC.

5.2 Prova de continuïtat

The DT-9030 can perform continuity tests, often indicated by an audible tone or specific display icon (e.g., speaker symbol).

  2. Apply the L1 and L2 probes across the component or circuit path you wish to test for continuity.
  3. If continuity is detected, an audible tone will sound, and/or a continuity symbol will appear on the display.

5.3 Phase Rotation Test (L R Indication)

The tester may offer a phase rotation indication, often shown by "L R" on the display.

  1. Connect the probes to the phases of a three-phase system as per standard practice.
  2. The "L R" indicator on the display will show the detected phase rotation. Consult specific diagrams for interpretation if provided with the device packaging.

5.4 Load Test / RCD (GFCI) Test

The red "TEST" button is typically used for a load test or to trip Residual Current Devices (RCDs) / Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs).

  1. Connect the probes to the circuit where you want to perform the test.
  2. Press and hold the "TEST" button. This will draw a small current, simulating a fault, and should trip an RCD/GFCI if present and functioning correctly.
  3. Observe the RCD/GFCI for tripping.
  4. Release the "TEST" button immediately after the test is complete or if the RCD/GFCI does not trip within a few seconds.

CAUTION: Do not hold the TEST button for extended periods as it can overheat the device or the circuit under test.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja
