3. Configuració
3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
The Klein Tools ET140 requires one 9V battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

3.2 Engegada/apagada
Premeu el botó Botó d'encesa (blue button in the center) to turn the meter ON or OFF. The meter will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

- Botó MODE: Toggles between different material types (Drywall, Masonry, Hardwood, Softwood).
- Botó HOLD: Freezes the current measurement on the display for easier reading.
4.2 Selecting Material Type
Abans de prendre una mesura, premeu el botó Botó MODE to select the appropriate material type for the surface you are testing. The selected material will be indicated on the display.

4.3 Prendre una mesura
To measure moisture content:
- Ensure the meter is ON and the correct material type is selected.
- Place the back of the meter flat against the surface you wish to test. Ensure full contact for accurate readings.
- The digital display will show the relative moisture percentage, and the LED bar graph will provide a visual indication of moisture levels (Dry to Wet).
- To hold a reading, press the botó HOLD. Press it again to release.

5. Manteniment
5.1 Neteja
Wipe the meter with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the meter is dry before storage.
