Introducció

The RCA RCD300BKA is a versatile digital alarm clock designed for convenience and reliability. It features a clear digital display, adjustable brightness, alarm and snooze functions, and a countdown timer. This device can be powered via an AC adapter (sold separately) using the included USB cable or for portable use with 3 AAA batteries (not included).

Configuració

Alimentació del dispositiu

The RCA RCD300BKA can be powered in two ways:

Alimentació CA: Connect the included 3-foot USB power cable to the DC 5V input port on the back of the alarm clock. Plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet.
Battery Power (for portability): For portable use or as a backup, insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the back of the unit. Ensure correct polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.

Configuració de l'hora inicial

Upon first power-up, the display will show a default time. To set the current time:

Manteniu premut el botó MODE fins que els dígits de les hores comencin a parpellejar.
Utilitza el + or - botons per ajustar l'hora.
Premeu el botó MODE button again to switch to minute adjustment. The minute digits will flash.
Utilitza el + or - botons per ajustar els minuts.
Premeu el botó MODE button once more to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Configuració de l'Alarma

Premeu el botó ALARMA button. The alarm time will be displayed, and the hour digits will flash.
Utilitza el + or - buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
Premeu el botó ALARMA button again to switch to minute adjustment. The minute digits will flash.
Utilitza el + or - buttons to set the desired alarm minutes.
Premeu el botó ALARMA button once more to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

Ús de la funció Snooze

Quan soni l'alarma, premeu el botó SNOOZE / DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS button to temporarily silence the alarm. The alarm will sound again after approximately 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

Ajust de la brillantor de la pantalla

Premeu el botó SNOOZE / DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS button (when the alarm is not sounding) to cycle through the available brightness levels (High, Low, Off). Select the desired brightness for comfortable viewing.

Premeu el botó MODE button repeatedly until "TIMER" appears on the display.
Manteniu premut el botó MODE button until the timer digits begin to flash.
Utilitza el + or - buttons to set the desired countdown time (up to 99 minutes).
Premeu el botó MODE button to start the countdown. The timer will begin to count down.
When the timer reaches zero, an alert will sound. Press any button to stop the alert.

Visualització de l'hora de 12/24 hores

To switch between 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, press the 12/24 button. In 12-hour format, "AM" or "PM" indicators will be displayed.

Manteniment

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your RCA RCD300BKA Alarm Clock, follow these maintenance guidelines:

Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the clock. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.

Resolució de problemes

Problema	Possible causa/solució
La pantalla del rellotge està en blanc o fosca.	Ensure the USB power cable is securely connected to the clock and a working power adapter/outlet. If using batteries, check if they are inserted correctly or need replacement. Adjust the display brightness using the SNOOZE / DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS botó.
L'alarma no sona.	Verify that the alarm time is set correctly. Ensure the alarm function is activated (alarm icon visible on display). Check if the volume is set to an audible level (if applicable, though this model does not have explicit volume control for alarm).
L'hora és incorrecta.	Reset the time following the "Initial Time Setting" instructions. Ensure the clock is receiving continuous power.
Els botons no responen.	Disconnect and reconnect the power source (or remove and reinsert batteries) to perform a soft reset. Ensure no foreign objects are obstructing the buttons.
