- Install Brake Rotor (if not pre-installed): If your brake rotor is separate, align it with the mounting holes on the wheel hub and secure it with appropriate bolts. Ensure bolts are torqued to manufacturer specifications.
- Position New Wheel: Carefully lift the new wheel into the front forks, aligning the brake rotor with the brake caliper. Ensure the wheel spacers (if applicable) are correctly positioned on each side of the hub.
- Insert Axle: Apply a thin layer of grease to the axle. Slide the axle through the fork leg, wheel hub, and the other fork leg. Ensure all components are aligned.
- Tighten Axle Nut: Install and tighten the axle nut to the motorcycle manufacturer's specified torque. Do not overtighten.
- Reattach Brake Caliper: Reattach the brake caliper to its mounting bracket on the fork. Torque the caliper bolts to specifications.
- Comprovacions finals: Spin the wheel to ensure it rotates freely without rubbing. Check brake operation. Pump the front brake lever several times to ensure proper brake pad engagement.
