Abans del primer ús

Before brewing coffee for the first time, it is recommended to clean the coffee maker.

1. Wash the glass carafe, permanent filter, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
2. Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb aigua neta fins a la línia d'ompliment MÀX.
3. Place the permanent filter (or a paper filter) into the filter basket, and then place the filter basket into its housing. Do not add coffee grounds.
4. Col·loqueu la garrafa de vidre buida sobre la placa calefactora.
5. Connecteu la cafetera a una presa de corrent de 110 V.
6. Run a full brewing cycle with only water. Discard the water from the carafe.
7. Repeat this process once more to ensure the appliance is clean and free of any manufacturing residues.

Configuració del rellotge

After plugging in the coffee maker, the digital display will flash. Set the current time:

1. Premeu el botó Hora (Hour) button repeatedly until the correct hour is displayed. The clock cycles through AM and PM.
2. Premeu el botó Min (Minute) button repeatedly until the correct minute is displayed.
3. El rellotge es configurarà automàticament després d'uns segons d'inactivitat.

Elaboració de cafè

1. Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water to the desired level, indicated by the markings on the side of the reservoir. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
2. Place the permanent filter (or a #4 cone paper filter) into the filter basket.
3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter. A general guideline is one tablespoon of coffee per cup (150ml), but adjust to your taste.
4. Tanqueu la tapa amb seguretat.

6. Premeu el botó ON/OFF button (if available, otherwise the main power button) to start the brewing cycle. The indicator light will illuminate.
7. Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the 'keep warm' function. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm for up to 2 hours before automatically shutting off.

Programming the Delay Brew Timer

The intelligent timer allows you to program the coffee maker to start brewing at a specific time up to 24 hours in advance.

1. Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described in steps 1-5 of "Brewing Coffee" (water, coffee, filter, carafe in place).
2. Premeu el botó prog button. The display will show "AUTO" and the programmed time will flash.
3. Utilitza el Hora (Hour) and Min (Minute) buttons to set the desired time for brewing to begin.
4. Després de configurar l'hora, premeu el botó prog button again to confirm, or wait a few seconds for it to set automatically. The "AUTO" indicator will remain lit, indicating the delay brew is active.

6. To cancel the delay brew, press the ON/OFF button (or the main power button) once. The "AUTO" indicator will turn off.

1. Desendolla sempre la cafetera i deixa que es refredi completament abans de netejar-la.
2. Remove the glass carafe, permanent filter, and filter basket. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water. They are also top-rack dishwasher safe.
3. Netegeu l'exterior de la cafetera, inclosa la placa calefactora, amb un drap suau i sec.amp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni fregalls.
4. No submergiu mai la unitat principal de la cafetera en aigua ni en cap altre líquid.

Descalcificació (mensual o segons calgui)

Mineral deposits from water can build up in your coffee maker, affecting its performance. Descale regularly.

1. Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb una barreja d'una part de vinagre blanc i dues parts d'aigua freda.
2. Place the permanent filter (without coffee) and the empty glass carafe in position.
3. Executeu un cicle complet d'elaboració.
4. Després del cicle, apagueu la cafetera i deixeu-la reposar durant 15 minuts.
5. Descarteu la solució de vinagre.
6. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and run two full brewing cycles with only water to rinse thoroughly.
