1. Motor Unit/Lid Assembly: Contains the motor, control panel, and blending blades.

4. Configuració i primer ús

Before using your soup maker for the first time, follow these steps:

1. Unpack the soup maker and all its components. Remove any packaging materials.

3. Wash the stainless steel jug, lid (avoiding the electrical connections), measuring cup, and cleaning brush in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

5. Place the soup maker on a clean, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
6. Connect the power cord to a suitable mains outlet.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The Beldray Soup Maker features four automatic functions: Smooth, Chunky, Blend, and Auto Clean.

5.1 Funcionament general

1. Prepare your ingredients: Chop vegetables and other solid ingredients into small pieces (approximately 2-3 cm) to ensure even cooking and blending.
2. Add ingredients to the stainless steel jug. Ensure the liquid level is between the MIN and MAX fill lines marked inside the jug. Do not overfill.
3. Securely place the motor unit/lid assembly onto the jug. Ensure it is properly seated and locked into position. The appliance will not operate if the lid is not correctly fitted.
4. Plug the appliance into the mains power supply. The digital display will illuminate.
5. Premeu la tecla 'Seleccioneu' button repeatedly to cycle through the available programs: Smooth, Chunky, Blend, Auto Clean. The selected program will be indicated on the display.
6. Once your desired program is selected, press the 'Inici / Cancel·lació' button to begin the cycle.

5.2 Funcions del programa

• Llis: This program cooks and blends ingredients to a smooth consistency, ideal for creamy soups and purees.
• gruixut: This program cooks ingredients without blending them completely, resulting in a soup with visible chunks of vegetables.
• Mescla: This function is for blending cold ingredients, perfect for smoothies, milkshakes, or cold sauces. It does not heat the ingredients.
• Neteja automàtica: This program assists in cleaning the jug and blades after use. (Refer to Section 6 for detailed cleaning instructions).

Nota: The cooking times for Smooth and Chunky programs are pre-set. The Blend function operates until the 'Start/Cancel' button is pressed again to stop it.

6. Manteniment i Neteja

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your soup maker.

1. Always unplug the appliance from the mains power supply and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Funció de neteja automàtica: After use, add 800ml of warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid to the jug. Secure the lid and select the 'Auto Clean' program. Press 'Start/Cancel'. This will help dislodge food residue.
3. Neteja manual:
   • Carefully remove the lid assembly. Use the provided cleaning brush to gently clean around the blending blades. Be extremely careful as the blades are sharp.
   • Wash the inside of the stainless steel jug with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly.
   • Wipe the exterior of the jug and the motor unit/lid assembly with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water or rinse it under a tap.

5. Store the soup maker in a dry place.
