The Tihebeyan CS-106 is a versatile portable radio capable of receiving FM, AM, Shortwave (SW), Longwave (LW), and TV sound frequencies. It features an LCD display, alarm clock functionality, and memory for storing your favorite stations.

Configuració
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio (refer to Figure 3).
- Feu lliscar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria cap avall per obrir-lo.
- Introduïu dues (2) piles AA (no incloses), assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.
- Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
Precaució: No barregeu piles noves i velles, ni diferents tipus de piles.
2. Powering the Radio
- Potència de la bateria: Once batteries are installed, slide the ON/OFF switch (located on the side, refer to Figure 2) to the 'ON' position.
- Potència externa: Connect a Micro USB cable (not included) to the Micro USB port on the side of the radio (refer to Figure 2) and to a 3V-5V DC power supply. The radio supports external power operation and charging (if using rechargeable AA batteries).
Instruccions de funcionament
1. Encendre/apagar
- To turn on the radio, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position.
- To turn off the radio, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position. This completely powers down the unit, preventing battery drain.
2. Band Selection (FM/AM/SW/LW/TV Sound)
Press the corresponding band buttons (FM, MW, SW) on the front panel to switch between frequency bands. The display will show the currently selected band.
- FM: Banda de modulació de freqüència.
- MW: Medium Wave (AM) band.
- SW: Banda d'ona curta.
- LW: Longwave band (accessible via SW band selection, then tuning).
- TV Sound: Specific FM frequencies are allocated for TV sound reception (FM3, FM4).
3. Sintonització
The radio supports both manual and automatic tuning.
- Sintonització manual: Use the 'TUNING' up/down arrow buttons to adjust the frequency incrementally. The default step values are: FM 0.05MHz, SW 0.005MHz, MW 9KHz or 10KHz (depending on region, Type 1 is 10KHz).
- Cerca automàtica: Press and hold the 'MEMORY' button to initiate an automatic scan for available stations. The radio will scan and save stations automatically.
4. Saving and Recalling Stations
The radio can store up to 60 stations (20 each for FM, MW, and SW).
- To Save Manually: Tune to the desired station. Press the 'M+' button. The display will show a memory location. Use the tuning buttons to select a different memory location if desired, then press 'M+' again to confirm.
- Recordar: Press the 'FAVORITE' button to cycle through saved stations.
5. Control de volum
Use the 'VOLUME' up/down arrow buttons to adjust the sound level.
6. Stereo Mode (FM Only)
To activate FM stereo mode:
- Ensure you are in FM mode and plug in earphones (refer to Figure 4).
- Press and hold the 'MEMORY' button for approximately 2 seconds. The word "STEREO" will appear on the display.
To deactivate stereo mode, press and hold the 'MEMORY' button again, or unplug the earphones.

7. Clock and Alarm Function
The radio includes a clock and alarm function. Refer to the 'TIME', 'HOUR', and 'MINUTE' buttons on the front panel to set the time and alarm. Detailed instructions for setting the alarm are typically found in the quick start guide included with the product.
8. Funció de silenci

Manteniment
- Neteja: Netegeu la ràdio amb un drap suau i sec. No utilitzeu netejadors líquids ni materials abrasius.
- Cura de la bateria: Traieu les piles si no heu d'utilitzar la ràdio durant un període prolongat per evitar fuites.
- Emmagatzematge: Guardeu la ràdio en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
- Antena: Handle the telescopic antenna gently to avoid damage. Extend it fully for best reception.
