1. Instruccions de seguretat

Please read all instructions carefully before using the GASTROBACK 42424 Advanced Control Waffle Maker. Retain this manual for future reference.

• Always ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and curtains, during operation.

3. Configuració i primer ús

3.1 Desembalatge

1. Carefully remove the waffle maker and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Remove any packaging materials, stickers, or labels from the appliance.

1. Place the waffle maker on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.
2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (220V). The LCD display will illuminate.
3. For the first use, it is recommended to lightly grease the waffle plates with a small amount of cooking oil or butter. This helps condition the non-stick surface.
4. Close the lid and allow the waffle maker to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes. A slight odor or smoke may occur during the first use; this is normal and will dissipate.

4.2 Selecting Waffle Programs

The GASTROBACK 42424 offers 5 pre-set programs:

• Belgian: For thick, fluffy Belgian-style waffles.
• Clàssic: For traditional, thinner waffles.
• Xocolata: Optimized for chocolate-based waffle batters.
• Buttermilk: Specifically for buttermilk waffle recipes.
• Personalitzat: Allows for manual adjustment of cooking time and temperature.

Per seleccionar un programa:

1. Premeu el botó MENÚ button repeatedly until the desired program is highlighted on the LCD display.
2. The appliance will automatically adjust its heating cycle for the selected program.

4.3 Adjusting Browning Level

The waffle maker features 7 browning levels, from Light (1) to Dark (7).

4.4 Adjusting Waffle Texture

You can choose from three texture options:

4. Do not open the lid during the cooking cycle, as this can affect the waffle's texture and cooking time.
5. When the cooking cycle is complete, the appliance will emit an audible signal, and the display will indicate "DONE" or similar.

4.6 Restart Function

If you need to restart the cooking cycle for any reason, press the REINICIAR button. This will reset the timer and begin a new cooking cycle with the current settings.
