3. Cura i Manteniment
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your kettle.
- Neteja: Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the kettle or its base in water. The interior should be hand washed.
- Descalcificació: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may accumulate inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This is normal and not rust. To descale:
- Fill the kettle with water and add a descaling agent like baking soda or lemon juice.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for 20-30 minutes.
- Discard the mixture, then wipe the interior and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
