Configuració

1. Desembalatge

• Wash the glass carafe and permanent filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are also dishwasher-safe.

• Fill the glass carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water (up to 5 cups).
• Pour the water from the carafe into the water tank, ensuring it does not exceed the MAX fill line. The clear level indicator on the side of the unit helps with precise measurement.

• Place the permanent filter into the filter basket.
• Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the permanent filter. A general guideline is one level scoop (using the included measuring spoon) per cup of water, adjusting to your taste.

• Place the empty glass carafe onto the warming plate.
• Press the On/Off button located on the front of the coffee maker. The indicator light will illuminate, signifying that the brewing process has begun.
• The coffee maker will automatically brew the coffee.

4. Pause & Brew Function

The Pause & Brew function allows you to pour a cup of coffee before the entire brewing cycle is complete. Simply remove the carafe from the warming plate, and the brewing will temporarily pause. Return the carafe to the warming plate within 20 seconds to resume brewing and prevent overflow.

5. Serving and Keep Warm Feature

• Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the Keep Warm mode. The warming plate will maintain the coffee at an optimal temperature for up to 30 minutes.
• After 30 minutes, the coffee maker will automatically shut off.
• To turn off the coffee maker manually before the 30-minute cycle, simply press the On/Off button again.

Descaling (Decalcifying)

Regular descaling is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and extending the lifespan of your coffee maker, especially in hard water areas. Descale every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you notice slower brewing or excessive steam.

1. Prepare a descaling solution: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water, or use a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee makers.
