1. Introducció

The Newhank Powermate is a compact, all-in-one stereo background music source solution featuring an integrated 2 x 100 W RMS amplifier. Designed for versatility and ease of use, this 1U rack-mountable unit supports various audio sources including USB, SD card, Bluetooth, FM radio, microphone, and auxiliary inputs.

It is ideal for background music systems in commercial environments such as restaurants, cafes, and offices, capable of driving up to four 8 Ohm speakers.

• Font d'alimentació: Connect the unit only to an AC power outlet with the specified voltage (230V, 50Hz). Ensure the power cord is not damaged or pinched.

4. Configuració

4.1. Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully unpack the Newhank Powermate unit and inspect it for any signs of damage during transit. Retain the original packaging for future transport or storage.

1. AUX IN (RCA): Stereo RCA inputs for connecting external audio sources.
2. PRE OUT / AMP IN (RCA): pre-amplifier output and main amplifier input. This allows for connecting external processors (like a sound limiter) or extending the system with additional amplifiers/subwoofers.
3. SORTIDA DE L'ALTAVEU: Binding post terminals for connecting passive speakers (minimum 4 Ohm load per channel). Connect positive (+) to positive and negative (-) to negative.
4. ENTRADA CA: Power socket for connecting the supplied AC power cable.

4.4. Connexions

• Ponents: Connect your 8 Ohm passive speakers to the "SPEAKER OUTPUT" terminals on the rear panel. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -). The unit can drive up to 4 small 8 Ohm speakers.
• Fonts d'àudio:
  • For USB drives or SD cards, insert them into the respective slots on the front panel.
  • For external devices like CD players, connect them to the front panel 6.3mm AUX input or the rear panel RCA AUX IN.
  • For microphones, connect to the front panel MIC input.
• Potència: Connect the supplied power cable to the "AC INPUT" on the rear panel and then to a suitable wall outlet.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Encès / apagat

Premeu el botó PODER switch on the front panel to turn the unit on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when the unit is powered on.

5.2. Selecció de la font

Premeu el botó MODE button on the front panel (or remote control) to cycle through available input sources: USB, SD, Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX (front), AUX (rear).

5.3. Reproducció multimèdia (USB/SD)

• Insert a USB flash drive or SD card containing MP3 or WAV files into the corresponding slot. The unit will automatically switch to USB/SD mode and begin playback.
• Utilitza el ANTERIOR (|<), SEGÜENT (>|), REPRODUCCIÓ/PAUSA (>>||), i STOP (■) botons per controlar la reproducció.
• Premeu el botó REPETIR button to cycle through playback modes: single track repeat, folder repeat, or all track repeat.
• Premeu el botó EQ button to select different equalizer presets.

5.4. Funcionament Bluetooth

• Seleccioneu Bluetooth mode utilitzant el MODE button. The LCD display will show "Bluetooth" or a pairing indicator.
• On your smart device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
• Select "Newhank Powermate" (or similar name) from the list to pair. Once paired, you can stream audio wirelessly from your device to the Powermate.

5.5. Funcionament de la ràdio FM

• Seleccioneu Ràdio FM mode utilitzant el MODE botó.

5.7. Control remot

This image shows the compact infrared remote control for the Newhank Powermate. It includes buttons for power on/off, stop, mute, mode selection, repeat, equalizer, previous/next track, play/pause, volume up/down, and a numeric keypad for direct track selection or FM frequency input.

The included remote control provides convenient access to most functions from a distance. Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the unit's IR receiver.

6. Manteniment

• Neteja: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents.
• Ventilació: Comproveu regularment que les obertures de ventilació estiguin netes de pols i deixalles per garantir una refrigeració adequada.
• Emmagatzematge: Si guardeu la unitat durant un període prolongat, desconnecteu-la de l'alimentació i guardeu-la en un lloc fresc i sec, preferiblement en el seu embalatge original.
