Configuració

Before operating your Sew Mighty Mini Sewing Machine, follow these steps:

1. Font d'alimentació:
   • For AC power, insert the 110V AC adapter into the Power Adapter DC Jack on the back of the machine and plug it into a wall outlet.
   • For battery power, open the battery compartment (bottom of the unit) and insert four AA batteries (not included). Important: Do not use AC and DC power simultaneously.
2. Extension Table (Optional):

   Attach the 8" x 9.75" extension table to the machine by aligning the pegs with the corresponding holes and gently pressing down until it clicks into place. This provides a larger work surface for bigger projects.

3. Enfilar la màquina:

   Proper threading is crucial for successful sewing. Refer to the detailed diagrams and instructions in the included user manual for the correct threading path for both upper thread and bobbin thread. Ensure the thread is placed correctly between the tension discs.

   Consell: If you are new to sewing, practice threading with a contrasting thread color to easily identify the path.

4. Enrotllament de la bobina:

   To wind a new bobbin, place an empty bobbin onto the Bobbin Winder Spool. Guide the thread from the main spool through the tension disc and around the bobbin. Turn on the machine to activate the bobbin winder. Stop when the bobbin is full but not overfilled.

Follow these steps for basic sewing operations:

1. Prepare Fabric: Place the fabric you wish to sew under the presser foot. Use the Presser Foot Lever to lower the presser foot onto the fabric.
2. Start Sewing:
   • Using the On/Off Button: Press the On/Off Switch to start sewing. Press again to stop.
   • Ús del pedal: Connect the Foot Control Pedal to the Foot Pedal Jack. Press down on the pedal to start sewing and release to stop. Nota: The foot pedal and On/Off button cannot be used simultaneously.

3. Ajustar velocitat: Use the Speed Control switch to select between the two available speeds (low and high).
4. Finishing a Seam: Once your seam is complete, raise the needle to its highest position by turning the Hand Wheel towards you. Raise the Presser Foot Lever. Pull the fabric gently away from the machine. Use the Thread Cutter or scissors to cut the threads.

Notes importants:

• This machine performs a straight stitch only. It does not have a backstitch function.
• Always ensure the needle is in its highest position before removing fabric to prevent damage.
• If thread breaking or jamming occurs, switch off the machine immediately and re-thread carefully. Adjusting the thread tension may also help.

Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine:

• Neteja: Regularly clean lint and dust from the bobbin area and around the needle plate using a small brush.
