4.1. Adjusting Input Gain

Use the "INPUT 1 GAIN" and "INPUT 2 GAIN" knobs on the front panel to adjust the input level for your microphones or instruments. The "PEAK" indicators will light up if the input signal is too high, indicating potential clipping. Adjust the gain to ensure the "PEAK" light only flashes occasionally on the loudest parts of your signal.

4.2. Direct Monitoring with DSPMixFX

The UR22C features a DSPMixFX application that allows for zero-latency monitoring with built-in effects. The "MIX" knob on the front panel blends the direct input signal with the playback signal from your computer (DAW).

The "MONO" switch on the front panel allows you to switch between mono and stereo monitoring. When engaged, both inputs are summed to mono, which can be useful for checking phase compatibility or when recording a single mono source.
