Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Cecotec Cafetera Express Cafelizzia 790 Shiny Pro espresso machine. Please read it thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.

Instruccions de seguretat

• Assegureu-vos sempre que la màquina estigui desendollada abans de netejar-la o fer-ne el manteniment.
• No submergiu l'aparell, el cable d'alimentació o l'endoll en aigua o cap altre líquid.
• Mantenir fora de l'abast dels nens.
• Feu servir només aigua freda i fresca al dipòsit d'aigua.

Configuració

1. Desembalatge i col·locació

Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the espresso machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from water sources and direct sunlight. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.

2. Neteja inicial

Before first use, wash the water tank, portafilter, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts.

3. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua

Traieu el dipòsit d'aigua de la part posterior de la màquina. Ompliu-lo amb aigua fresca i freda fins a l'indicador de nivell MÀX. Torneu a col·locar el dipòsit de manera segura.

4. Priming the Machine (First Use)

Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. Place a large cup under the coffee outlet. Turn on the machine. Once the indicator light stops flashing (indicating heating is complete), press the coffee brewing button to run water through the system without coffee. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean and prime the internal components.

1. Preparació d'espresso

3. Add ground coffee to the filter basket. For best results, use freshly ground espresso coffee. Do not overfill.
4. Tamp the coffee grounds evenly with a tampeh.
5. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting it firmly to the right until secure.
6. Col·loqueu una o dues tasses sota els becs del portafiltre.
7. Press the single or double espresso button. The machine will automatically brew the coffee and stop.
8. Un cop finalitzada la infusió, retireu amb cura el portafiltre i llenceu els mòlts de cafè utilitzats.

2. Frothing Milk for Cappuccino/Latte

1. Fill a stainless steel frothing pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy). Do not fill more than one-third full.
2. Turn the steam knob to the steam position. Wait for the steam indicator light to illuminate steadily, indicating the machine has reached steaming temperature.

5. Slowly lower the pitcher as the milk expands, keeping the tip just below the surface to create foam.
6. Once the desired volume and temperature are reached, turn off the steam knob.

3. Funció d'aigua calenta

To dispense hot water, place a cup under the steam wand. Turn the steam knob to the hot water position. The machine will dispense hot water. Turn the knob back to the off position to stop.

Manteniment

1. Neteja diària

• Portafiltres i cistelles de filtre: After each use, remove the portafilter, discard coffee grounds, and rinse thoroughly under hot water. Use a brush to clean any residue from the filter basket.
• Safata de degoteig: Buideu i esbandiu la safata de degoteig diàriament o quan l'indicador surti amunt.
• Vareta de vapor: Immediatament després d'escumar la llet, netegeu la boquilla de vapor amb un drap.amp drap. Purgueu una petita quantitat de vapor per eliminar qualsevol residu intern de llet.

2. Descalcificació

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting machine performance. Descale your machine every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water. Use a commercial descaling solution designed for coffee machines and follow the product's instructions carefully. Always rinse the machine thoroughly with several tanks of fresh water after descaling.

3. Emmagatzematge

If storing the machine for an extended period, ensure it is clean, dry, and the water tank is empty. Store in a cool, dry place.
