The scale supports 6 different weighing units for versatility.

5.3 Funció de tara

The tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.

  1. Place the empty container or tray on the weighing pan.
  2. Premeu el botó TARA botó. La pantalla es reiniciarà a "0.000g".
  3. Add the item you wish to weigh into the container. The display will show the net weight of the item.

5.4 Funció de recompte (PCS)

The PCS function allows you to count multiple pieces of an item based on a sampla quantitat.

  1. Turn on the scale and ensure it is in weighing mode (g).
  2. Premeu el botó PCS botó. La pantalla mostrarà comample quantity (e.g., "25 PCS").
  3. Premeu el botó MODE button to select the desired sample quantity (25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces).
  4. Place the exact number of sample pieces (e.g., 25 pieces) onto the weighing pan.
  5. Premeu el botó PCS premeu el botó de nou per confirmar la sample. The display will show "PCS" and the number of pieces.
  6. You can now add more items, and the scale will count them based on the sampel pes.

5.5 Calibració

Calibration ensures the accuracy of your scale. It is recommended to calibrate the scale regularly or if you notice inconsistent readings.

  1. Enceneu l'escala.
  2. Manteniu premut el botó MODE button for 6+ seconds until the display starts to flash "20.000".
  3. Place one 20g calibration weight onto the center of the weighing platform. The display will then flash "40.000".
  4. Place the second 20g calibration weight onto the platform, alongside the first one, for a total of 40g.
  5. The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode, indicating successful calibration. Remove the calibration weights.
Four-step illustration of the calibration process: 1. Turn on scale, 2. Press MODE for 6+ seconds until 20.000 flashes, place 20g weight, 3. Display flashes 40.000, place another 20g weight, 4. Display shows PASS, calibration complete.

5.6 Best Practice for Small Measurements (Addressing "Floating Zero")

When weighing very small amounts, especially when adding material slowly or in tiny increments, the scale may exhibit a 'floating zero' behavior, where small additions might not register immediately or accurately if starting from a zeroed state. This is due to the scale's sensitivity threshold (it may not register weights below 9-15mg when starting from zero).

To ensure maximum accuracy for very small or incremental measurements, follow this method:

  1. Enceneu l'escala.
  2. Place your empty weighing pan/tray on the scale. DO NOT press the TARE button to zero it out. Note the weight of the empty tray (e.g., 3.090g).
  3. Begin adding your material to the tray. Calculate your target total weight by adding the desired material weight to the initial tray weight (e.g., if tray is 3.090g and you want 30mg of material, aim for a total display of 3.090g + 0.030g = 3.120g).
  4. By always having a base weight on the scale (the tray's weight), the scale remains active and registers even the smallest additions more consistently.

This method helps overcome the initial threshold and ensures accurate readings for micro-measurements.
