Introducció
This manual provides detailed instructions for the operation and maintenance of your Casio CA53W Vintage Series Digital Calculator Watch. This watch combines classic digital timekeeping with an 8-digit calculator, stopwatch, alarm, and dual time functions.

Before using your Casio CA53W watch, please perform the following initial setup steps.

Modes de funcionament
Navegació en mode
Premeu el botó C button (MODE) to cycle through the watch's various modes in the following order: Timekeeping Mode → Calculator Mode → Alarm Mode → Dual Time Mode → Stopwatch Mode → Timekeeping Mode.
Mode de cronometratge
This is the default mode, displaying the current time (hours, minutes, seconds), day of the week, and AM/PM indicator (for 12-hour format). The full date (Year-Month-Day) can be displayed by holding the ÷ botó.
Mode calculadora
To access the 8-digit calculator, press the C button (MODE) until 'CAL' appears on the display. Use the numeric keypad for calculations. The watch supports basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Constants for calculations are indicated by a 'K' on the display after double-pressing an operation button (e.g., XX for squaring).
Mode d'alarma
In Alarm Mode, you can set a daily alarm. Press the B button (LIGHT/SET) to adjust the alarm time. Press the 4 button (ALM ON/OFF) to toggle the alarm on or off. To test the alarm sound, hold down the 0 i + buttons simultaneously while in Alarm Mode.

The Dual Time Mode allows you to keep track of a second time zone. To set the dual time, enter Dual Time Mode, then press and hold the C button (MODE) until the hour digits flash. Use the number buttons to set the hour and minutes. The seconds automatically synchronize with the main timekeeping mode.

The stopwatch measures elapsed time with 1/100-second accuracy, up to 23 hours, 59 minutes, 59.99 seconds. Press the 3 button (START/STOP) to start and stop the stopwatch. Press the 1 button (LAP/RESET) to record lap/split times or to reset the stopwatch to zero. A single beep will sound every 10 minutes while the stopwatch is running.
Hourly Senyal horari
Per activar o desactivar l'hourly time signal (a short beep every hour on the hour), press the X button while in Timekeeping Mode or Alarm Mode. An indicator will appear on the display when the hourly time signal is active.
Battery Saver (Key Press Beep)
