The ABUS PRO Shield Plus 5950 frame lock is designed for direct mounting onto the bicycle frame. Ensure your bicycle frame has the appropriate mounting points before proceeding.

1. Posicionament: Align the frame lock with the designated mounting holes on your bicycle's rear frame. The lock should be positioned so that the shackle can effectively block the rear wheel's movement when engaged.
2. Assegurament: Use the provided mounting screws to firmly attach the frame lock to the bicycle frame. Ensure all screws are tightened securely to prevent any movement or rattling during use.

4.1 Engaging the Lock

For enhanced security, the PRO Shield Plus 5950 is compatible with ABUS lock chains (e.g., 6KS/85 or 6KS/100) or connection cables (e.g., ACL 12/100). These accessories can be inserted into the additional lock housing to secure your bicycle to a fixed object.

1. Wrap the lock chain around a fixed object and your bicycle frame.
2. Insert the end of the chain into the designated slot on the frame lock.
