1. Introducció

4.1 Attaching the Extension Rod

1. Align the extension rod with the main unit's connection point.
2. Push the rod firmly until it clicks into place.
3. Secure the connection using the screw-on fasteners provided. Ensure it is tightly fastened to prevent movement during operation.

4.2 Inserció de la bateria

2. Slide a fully charged Kärcher 18V battery pack into the battery compartment until it locks securely.

Attach the shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the extension rod. Adjust the strap length for comfortable weight distribution, reducing strain on your arms and shoulders during extended use.

4.4 Adjusting the Cutting Head

The cutting head can be adjusted to 4 levels within a 115° interval. This allows for precise trimming of hedges with various contours. Refer to the markings on the cutting head for specific angle adjustments.

5.2 Arrencada i aturada de la retalladora

The trimmer features a safety ignition to prevent unintentional starting. To start, press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger switch. Release the trigger switch to stop the trimmer.

Hold the trimmer firmly with both hands, utilizing the shoulder strap for support. Move the trimmer in a smooth, sweeping motion. For optimal results, cut small amounts at a time. The diamond cutting blade, with a length of 45 cm, provides precise cuts.

5.4 Using the Sawing Function

For thicker branches, the trimmer includes a sawing function. Position the blade to engage the sawing teeth on the branch and apply steady pressure. Do not force the blade.

5.5 Working with the Telescopic Extension

The telescopic extension allows you to reach heights of up to 4 meters. When working with the extension, maintain a balanced stance and be mindful of the increased leverage and weight.

5.6 Using the Cutting Sweeper

The integrated cutting sweeper helps direct cut material to the ground, preventing it from falling back onto the hedge. This facilitates easier cleanup after trimming.

6. Manteniment
