1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your SKIL PWRCore 40 2.5Ah 40V Lithium Battery. 2. Informació important de seguretat

• No desmunteu, open, or shred battery cells or battery pack.
• No curtcircuiteu a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short-circuited by conductive materials.
• No exposar battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
• Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
• In the event of battery leakage, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
• Keep battery packs clean and dry. If dirty, wipe the terminals with a clean dry cloth.

• Do not use any battery pack that is not designed for use with the equipment.

3. Configuració i càrrega inicial

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove the battery from its packaging. Inspect the battery for any signs of damage. If damage is observed, do not use the battery and contact customer support.

3.2 Càrrega de la bateria

Before first use, fully charge the battery. Use only a SKIL PWRCore 40 charger designed for this battery model.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Inserció de la bateria en una eina

1. Assegureu-vos que l'eina elèctrica estigui apagada i desconnectada de qualsevol font d'alimentació (si escau).
2. Align the battery with the battery port on your SKIL 40V power tool.
3. Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place. Do not force the battery.
4. Verify that the battery is firmly seated before operating the tool.

4.2 Extracció de la bateria d'una eina

3. Press and hold the release button while sliding the battery out of the tool.

4.3 Checking Battery Charge Status

The battery features green LED indicators. Press the battery status button (if present) or observe the lights when the battery is inserted into a tool or charger to check the remaining charge.

• Keep the battery away from metallic objects that could short-circuit the terminals.
