4. Configuració i instal·lació

4.2 Sump Basin Requisits
The pump requires a minimum 18-inch diameter sump basin for proper operation of the tethered float switch.
4.3 Discharge Pipe Connection
- Connect a 1-1/2 inch FNPT discharge pipe to the pump's outlet. Use thread tape on the pipe threads to ensure a watertight seal.
- Install a check valve in the discharge line to prevent water from flowing back into the sump basin when the pump turns off.
- Route the discharge pipe away from the foundation to prevent water recirculation.

- Ensure the power supply is 115 Volts, AC.
- Plug the pump's 8.25 ft. power cord into a properly grounded 3-prong GFCI outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Ensure the power cord is routed to prevent damage and does not interfere with the float switch operation.

5. Funcionament

When water in the sump basin rises and lifts the float to the 'ON' position, the pump will activate and begin discharging water. Once the water level drops and the float returns to the 'OFF' position, the pump will shut off. This pump features a continuous duty, efficient 115-Volt PSC motor.
