Guia d'instal·lació

Safety First: Before beginning any installation, always disconnect the negative battery terminal of your vehicle to prevent electrical shorts and potential damage.

Step 1: Prepare the Mount and Radio

Amb cura review the instructions provided with your new aftermarket radio and the Metra 108UN02 kit. Break off any unnecessary tabs from the mounting brackets that are not required for your specific application.

Install your new Pioneer 8-inch radio into the Metra 108UN02 floating mount using the screws provided with your radio. Ensure the radio is securely fastened within the mount.

Step 2: Remove Factory Stereo and Wiring

Using appropriate panel removal tools, carefully remove any trim panels surrounding your factory stereo. Unscrew and remove the factory radio from the dashboard. Disconnect all wiring harnesses from the back of the factory stereo.

Step 3: Wire the New Stereo Harness

Connect the wiring harness included with your new Pioneer radio to the vehicle's harness. Use splice connectors to ensure secure connections, matching wire colors as indicated in your radio's and vehicle's wiring diagrams. Some wires, such as those for an amplifier turn-on, parking brake sensor, or steering wheel controls, may require direct connections or specific adapters not included in this mount kit.

Step 4: Install New Stereo and Mount

Once all wiring connections are made, carefully slide the assembled new radio and Metra 108UN02 mount into the dashboard opening. Secure it using the factory screws or any screws provided with the kit that are compatible with your vehicle's mounting points. Reattach any trim panels removed in Step 2.

Step 5: Reconnect Battery and Test

Reconnect the negative battery terminal. Turn on your vehicle's ignition and power on the new radio. Test all functions, including audio, radio reception, Bluetooth, and any other features, to ensure proper operation before fully reassembling the dashboard.
