1. Introducció

The JOYO Bluejay BanTamp Sèrie Mini Amp Head is a compact and portable 20-watt hybrid tube amplifier designed for guitarists. It features a single 12AX7 tube in the preamp section and a solid-state power amp, delivering warm clean tones and rich overdrive suitable for blues and jazz. The amplifier includes a 'Normal' channel that accommodates pedals effectively, an FX loop for time-based effects, and Bluetooth connectivity for audio playback.

2. Informació de seguretat

• Font d'alimentació: Use only the provided DC18V/2A power supply. Using an incorrect power supply can damage the unit and void the warranty.
• Connexió de l'altaveu: Connecteu sempre el amplifier to a speaker cabinet with the correct impedance (minimum 8Ω) before powering on. Operating without a speaker connected can cause damage to the ampmés viu.

4.1 Controls del panell frontal

• ENTRADA: 1/4" (6.35mm) jack for connecting your guitar.
• NORMAL/BRIGHT Switch: Toggles between the Normal (clean) channel and the Bright (overdrive) channel.
• BLUETOOTH Button: Activa el mode d'emparellament Bluetooth.
• Mando GAIN: Adjusts the input gain level, affecting the amount of overdrive/distortion.
• Mando de TONE: Controls the overall tonal character, from darker to brighter.
• Botó de VOLUM: Ajusta el volum de sortida general del ampmés viu.

• SPEAKER OUTPUTS (MIN 8Ω): Connects to your speaker cabinet using the provided speaker cable. Ensure the cabinet impedance is 8 ohms or higher.
• DC18V 2.0A: Power input for the DC18V/2A power supply.
• TELÈFONS: 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone output with speaker emulation for silent practice.
• BUCLE FX (ENVI/RETORN): Allows connection of external effects pedals. Connect the SEND to the input of your effects pedal and the output of your effects pedal to the RETURN.
• INTERRUPTOR DE PEUT: Input for the included footswitch to remotely switch between channels.

5. Configuració

1. Connect Speaker Cabinet: Using the provided speaker cable, connect the SPEAKER OUTPUT on the rear panel of the BanTamp to your speaker cabinet. Ensure the speaker cabinet has an impedance of 8 ohms or higher.
2. Connectar l'alimentació: Plug the DC18V/2A power supply into the DC18V 2.0A input on the rear panel, then plug the power supply into a suitable wall outlet.
3. Connecta la guitarra: Plug your guitar into the INPUT jack on the front panel.
4. Connect Footswitch (Optional): If desired, connect the included footswitch to the FOOTSWITCH input on the rear panel for remote channel switching.
5. Connect FX Loop (Optional): If using external effects, connect the SEND jack to the input of your effects pedal and the output of your effects pedal to the RETURN jack.
6. Encès: Ensure the VOLUME knob is set to a low level, then press the ON/POWER switch to turn on the ampmés viu.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Funcionament bàsic

• Selecció de canals: Use the NORMAL/BRIGHT switch on the front panel or the footswitch to select between the clean (Normal) and overdrive (Bright) channels.
• Ajust del to: Use the GAIN, TONE, and VOLUME knobs to shape your sound. Experiment with different settings to find your preferred tone.
• Ús d'auriculars: For silent practice, plug headphones into the PHONES jack on the rear panel. The speaker output will be muted automatically.

6.2 Connectivitat Bluetooth

The Bluejay BanTamp features Bluetooth for playing along with backing tracks or learning songs.

1. Press the BLUETOOTH button on the front panel. The Bluetooth indicator light will begin to flash.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for available devices and select "JOYO BanTamp".
3. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light will remain solid. You can now play audio from your device through the ampmés viu.

7. Manteniment

• Neteja: Utilitzeu un drap suau i sec per netejar-lo amplifier's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Substitució del tub: The 12AX7 preamp tube has a finite lifespan. If you notice a decrease in performance or unusual noise, the tube may need replacement. This should be performed by a qualified technician.
• Emmagatzematge: Quan no s'utilitzi durant períodes prolongats, guardeu-lo amplifier in a dry, dust-free environment.
