This remote comes pre-programmed for common TV functions and offers a learning function to customize control for most TV systems. 3. Configuració: Instal·lació de la bateria

The EDISION EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del comandament a distància.
2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) and lift to open the compartment.
3. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the polarity indicators inside the compartment.
4. Torneu a col·locar la tapa del compartiment de la bateria fent-la lliscar fins que faci clic de manera segura.

Important: Always use new batteries and dispose of old batteries responsibly. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

4. Operating Instructions: Programming TV Functions

The EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote control is designed to operate your EDISION receiver directly. Additionally, it features a learning function to program essential TV controls (ON/OFF, TV/AV, Volume Up, Volume Down) from your original TV remote control.

4.1. Programming TV Buttons (Learning Function)

This process allows you to copy specific functions from your original TV remote to the designated TV control buttons on the EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote. The TV control section is located at the top right of the remote, highlighted in the image below.

1. Entra al mode d'aprenentatge: Manteniu premut el botó SET button (located in the upper right TV control area) for approximately 4 seconds. The indicator light (usually red) on the remote will turn on and remain steady, indicating it is ready to learn. Release the SET botó.
2. Select Button to Program: Within 10 seconds, press the button on the EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote that you wish to program (e.g., the ON/OFF [TV Power Button]). The indicator light will flash once and then remain steady, signifying it is ready to receive a signal.
3. Transmit Signal from Original Remote: Point the infrared "eye" of your original TV remote control directly at the infrared "eye" of the EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote (typically located at the top of both remotes) at a distance of 2-3 cm.
4. Press Original Remote Button: Press and hold the corresponding button on your original TV remote (e.g., the Power button) for about 3 seconds.
5. Confirmació: If the learning process is successful, the indicator light on the EDI-RCU 1 Learn remote will flash three times quickly and then turn off. This confirms the function has been saved.
6. Repeat for Other Functions: Repeat steps 2-5 for the remaining TV functions you wish to program: TV/AV (to switch between TV/AV modes), VOL+ (Volume Up), and VOL- (Volume Down).
7. Sortir del mode d'aprenentatge: After programming all desired buttons, press the SET button again to exit learning mode. The indicator light will turn off.

Troubleshooting Tip: If the indicator light flashes and then immediately turns off without flashing three times, the learning process failed. Repeat the steps carefully, ensuring proper alignment and sufficient distance between the remotes.
