Configuració i instal·lació
The Broan-NuTone 744L is designed for new construction and features adjustable mounting brackets for easy installation between 2" x 8" ceiling joists. The housing dimensions are 12.75"D x 6.88"W x 8.25"H.

2. Mounting the Housing

1. Selecting Airflow (CFM)
The Broan-NuTone 744L offers selectable airflow settings of 50 or 80 Cubic Feet Per Minute (CFM). This setting is typically chosen during installation based on room size. Refer to the installation guide for instructions on how to set the desired CFM.

Once installed, the fan operates quietly with a noise level between 0.3 and 2.0 sones, depending on the selected CFM. Activate the fan using the wall switch connected during installation. For optimal humidity control, consider using a humidity-sensing wall switch (sold separately) that automatically turns the fan on and off as needed.

The integrated incandescent light is controlled by the wall switch connected during installation. If wired independently, the light can be operated separately from the fan. If wired together, both will activate simultaneously.

1. Cleaning the Grille and Light Trim
Periodically clean the exterior grille and light trim with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is turned off at the circuit breaker before cleaning.
2. Light Bulb Replacement
To replace the incandescent light bulb, first ensure the power is off at the switch and circuit breaker. Carefully remove the light trim, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new 75-watt R30, BR30, PAR30L, or PAR30LN bulb. Reattach the trim securely.
3. Motor and Fan Blade Cleaning
For deeper cleaning of the motor and fan blades, it is recommended to consult a qualified technician. The motor is permanently lubricated and does not require additional oiling.
