The Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop requires batteries for operation. The combo includes 4 AA batteries. Locate the battery compartments on the underside of both the keyboard and the mouse. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity as indicated within the compartment.

Your Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop is designed for easy pairing with compatible devices using Bluetooth 5.0 wireless technology. Pairing functionality requires Windows 10 with the latest updates or Windows 11 Home/Pro.

For optimal functionality, installation of the Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center software is recommended. This software requires Microsoft Windows 10/8.1 and 150 MB available hard disk space. Internet access is required for download, and associated charges may apply. This software is not available on devices running Windows 10 S or Mac OSX.
