Configuració
Battery Installation and Power On
The Casio fx-115ES Plus 2nd Edition is powered by a combination of solar energy and a single LR44 button cell battery, which is included. The solar panel provides primary power in well-lit environments, while the battery acts as a backup to ensure continuous operation in low light conditions or when performing complex calculations that require more power.
- Ensure the calculator is in a well-lit area to utilize solar power.
- If the display is blank or dim, the battery may need to be replaced. Refer to the "Maintenance" section for battery replacement instructions.
- Premeu el botó ON button located on the top right of the keypad to power on the calculator.

If you encounter unexpected behavior or wish to reset the calculator to its factory default settings, follow these steps:
- Premeu MAJÚS.
- Premeu 9 (CLR).
- Seleccioneu 3 (tots) to clear all settings and memory.
- Premeu = (Yes) per confirmar.
- Premeu AC to return to normal calculation mode.

Càlculs bàsics
Perform standard arithmetic operations using the numeric keypad and operation keys (+, -, ×, ÷). Premeu = per obtenir el resultat.
Natural Textbook Display™
This feature allows you to input and view expressions and results in a natural format, similar to how they appear in textbooks. For example, fractions will display with a horizontal bar, and square roots will show the radical symbol.

After performing a calculation, use the directional arrow keys (▲, ▼, ◀, ▶) to navigate through previous calculations and edit them. This is useful for correcting errors or performing similar calculations with slight modifications.
Funcions avançades
The calculator supports a wide range of advanced mathematical and scientific functions. Many functions are accessed by pressing the MAJÚS key followed by the desired function key (indicated by text above the key). For exampLI:
- Complex Number Calculations: Access complex number mode via CONFIGURACIÓ DEL MODE.
- Linear Regression: Use STAT mode for statistical calculations.
- Summation (Σ) and Integration (∫): Dedicated keys are available for these calculus operations.
- Permutacions i combinacions: Ús nPr i nCr funcions.
- Matrix/Vector Operations: Enter MATRIX or VECTOR mode to perform these calculations.
Scientific Constants and Unit Conversions
The calculator includes 40 built-in scientific constants and 40 unit conversions. These can be accessed using the MAJÚS key in conjunction with the CONST or CONV keys, respectively. A quick reference for these is provided on the back of the calculator's hard case (Figure 3).

Manteniment
Neteja
To clean the calculator, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
Canvi de bateria
The calculator uses one LR44 button cell battery. While the solar panel extends battery life, eventual replacement may be necessary. To replace the battery:
