Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Unscrew the battery compartment cap located at the top of the device (refer to Image 1).
2. Insert three 1.5V LR44 button batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Securely screw the battery compartment cap back on.

2. Preparació Inicial

2. Rinse the electrode with distilled water and gently blot dry with a clean tissue. Do not rub.
3. It is recommended to perform a calibration before first use or after prolonged storage.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Encendre/apagar

• Manteniu premut el botó Botó d'engegada again to turn it off. The device will also automatically shut off after 5 minutes of inactivity.

2. Canvi de mode

The C-600A can measure multiple parameters. To switch between modes (EC, pH, TDS, Salinity, ORP, S.G), press the MODE/CAL botó.

3. Prendre una mesura

1. Enceneu el tester.
2. Select the desired measurement mode by pressing the MODE/CAL botó.
3. Submergiu l'elèctrode a la sample solution, ensuring the liquid level is below the electrode fixing nut.
4. Gently stir the solution and wait for the reading to stabilize (usually a few seconds).

4. Temperature Unit Switching

5. Calibration (pH)

Regular calibration ensures accuracy. Use standard buffer solutions (e.g., pH 4.00, pH 6.86, pH 9.18).

1. Prepare pH 6.86, pH 4.00, and pH 9.18 buffer solutions in separate clean beakers.
2. Turn on the tester and switch to pH mode.

5. The device will automatically recognize the buffer solution and calibrate. Wait for the reading to stabilize and "END" to appear, indicating successful calibration.

Note: TDS, EC, and Salinity are typically factory calibrated and may not require frequent user calibration. If recalibration is needed for these parameters, refer to advanced instructions or contact customer support.

Manteniment

1. Cleaning the Electrode

• Always rinse the electrode with distilled water before and after each use.
• If the electrode is heavily contaminated, gently clean it with a soft brush and a mild detergent solution, then rinse thoroughly with distilled water.
• Avoid touching the glass bulb of the pH electrode directly with your fingers.

2. Emmagatzematge

• After cleaning, ensure the electrode is moist. It is recommended to store the pH electrode in a small amount of pH storage solution or pH 4.00 buffer solution within its protective cap. Do not store in distilled water as this can deplete the electrode's electrolyte.
