Unlocking the Tool
To unlock the crimping tool, push the "LOCK" tab forward and open the handles. To lock, close the handles and push the "LOCK" tab backward.
Preparant el cable
- Determine the desired length of your Ethernet or telephone cable.
- Use the integrated wire cutter to cut the cable to length.
- Insert the cable into the wire stripper slot. Gently squeeze the handles and rotate the cable to strip the outer jacket, exposing the internal wires. Aim for approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch of exposed wires.
- Carefully untwist the individual wire pairs and arrange them according to the T568A or T568B wiring standard for RJ45 connectors, or the appropriate standard for RJ11/12.

Crimping an RJ45 Connector (Ethernet)
- After stripping and arranging the wires, ensure they are straight and aligned.
- Insert the arranged wires into the RJ45 connector (8P8C). For pass-through connectors, push the wires completely through the front of the connector.
- Insert the RJ45 connector with the wires into the RJ45 crimping port of the tool. Ensure the connector is seated firmly.
- Squeeze the handles of the crimping tool firmly and completely until the ratchet mechanism releases. This action will crimp the pins onto the wires and, for pass-through connectors, trim any excess wire.
- Remove the crimped connector from the tool.

Crimping an RJ11/RJ12 Connector (Telephone)
- Prepare the telephone cable by stripping the outer jacket and arranging the wires according to the required standard (e.g., 6P4C or 4P6C).
- Insert the arranged wires into the RJ11/RJ12 connector.
- Insert the RJ11/RJ12 connector with the wires into the appropriate crimping port (6P or 4P) of the tool.
- Squeeze the handles of the crimping tool firmly and completely until the ratchet mechanism releases.
- Remove the crimped connector from the tool.
Manteniment
- Neteja: After each use, wipe the tool with a clean, dry cloth to remove any debris or wire fragments.
- Substitució de la fulla: The crimping tool includes a replacement blade. If the cutting or trimming blade becomes dull, it can be replaced. Refer to the diagram for blade location and replacement procedure. Ensure the tool is locked before attempting blade replacement.

Mala qualitat de crimpat
- Wires not fully inserted: Ensure wires are pushed completely into the connector before crimping. For pass-through connectors, ensure they extend past the front.
- Incorrect wire order: Verify the wire arrangement matches the T568A or T568B standard for RJ45, or the correct standard for RJ11/12.
- Dull blade: If the built-in trimming blade for pass-through connectors is not cutting cleanly, replace it with the spare blade provided.
- Incomplete squeeze: Ensure the tool handles are squeezed completely until the ratchet mechanism releases.
Cable Jacket Not Stripping Cleanly
- Incorrect cable size: Ensure the cable is properly seated in the stripper slot.
- Dull stripper blade: The mini wire stripper's blade may be dull or damaged.
- Insufficient rotation: Ensure the cable is rotated fully within the stripper to cut the jacket evenly.
