Place the rice cooker base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface.
Ensure the inner cooking pot is clean and dry, then place it inside the rice cooker base.
Place the glass lid securely on top of the inner cooking pot.

Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. Rinse rice thoroughly if desired.
Add the rinsed rice to the inner cooking pot.
Add the appropriate amount of water. A common ratio is 1 cup of rice to 1.5-2 cups of water, but refer to specific rice packaging for best results. The inner pot has water level markings for guidance.
