3.2 Afegir combustible i oli
The engine is shipped without oil or fuel. It is crucial to add both before first use.
- Oli de motor: Fill the engine with SAE 30 engine oil. The oil tank volume is 0.6 liters. Use the dipstick to ensure the oil level is between the 'min' and 'max' marks. Do not overfill.
- Combustible: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not use E85 or other ethanol blends not approved for small engines. Do not overfill the tank; leave space for fuel expansion.
WARNING: Never refuel while the engine is running or hot. Avoid spilling fuel. If fuel is spilled, wipe it up immediately and wait for fumes to dissipate before starting the engine.
4. Funcionament
4.1 Comprovació prèvia a l'operació
- Comproveu el nivell d'oli del motor.
- Comproveu el nivell de combustible.
- Inspect the cutter bar for damage or wear.
- Assegureu-vos que totes les femelles, els cargols i els elements de fixació estiguin ben ajustats.
4.2 Arrencada del motor
- Ensure the fuel valve is open (if applicable).
- Set the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position for a cold engine. For a warm engine, set to 'RUN' or 'HALF CHOKE'.
- Moveu la palanca de l'accelerador a la posició "RÀPID".
- Grasp the recoil starter handle firmly and pull slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine. Repeat if necessary.
- Un cop el motor arrenqui, moveu gradualment la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "RUN" a mesura que el motor s'escalfa.
4.3 Mowing Operation
- Engage the cutter bar clutch (if equipped) and the wheel drive lever.
- Walk at a steady pace, allowing the mower to cut efficiently. Do not force the mower through dense vegetation.
- Adjust the cutting height as needed (maximum adjustable cutting height: 80 cm).
- When turning, disengage the cutter bar and wheel drive, maneuver the mower, then re-engage.
4.4 Parar el motor
- Disengage the cutter bar and wheel drive.
- Move the throttle lever to the 'SLOW' or 'IDLE' position and allow the engine to cool for a few minutes.
- Gireu l'interruptor del motor a la posició 'OFF'.
- Close the fuel valve (if applicable) for storage.
