1. Introducció

The SMART SENSOR HF150 is a versatile non-contact infrared thermometer designed for quick and safe temperature measurement. It features dual measurement modes, allowing you to measure both body temperature (forehead) and surface temperature of objects like milk or bath water. Its digital LCD display with backlight ensures clear readings, and its simple operation makes it user-friendly for various applications.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The SMART SENSOR HF150 requires two (2) 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de les piles al mànec del termòmetre.
  2. Gently slide or open the battery compartment cover.

3.2 Encès

Once batteries are installed, press the measurement trigger to power on the device. The LCD display will light up, and the thermometer will perform a brief self-check before entering measurement mode.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Selecting Measurement Mode (Body/Surface)

The HF150 offers two measurement modes:

  • Mode corporal: For measuring human body temperature, typically by aiming at the forehead.
  • Mode de superfície: For measuring the surface temperature of objects, liquids (e.g., milk, bath water), or ambient surfaces.

Per canviar entre modes, premeu la tecla "B/S" button located below the LCD display. The current mode (Body or Surface) will be indicated on the display.

4.2 Prendre una mesura

Per fer una lectura de temperatura:

  1. Ensure the correct measurement mode (Body or Surface) is selected.
  2. Point the thermometer's sensor at the target. For body temperature, aim at the center of the forehead from a distance of 10mm to 50mm (0.4 to 2 inches). For surface temperature, aim at the desired object.
  3. Press and release the measurement trigger. The temperature reading will instantly appear on the LCD display.

  • Lectura de temperatura: The main numerical display showing the measured temperature.
  • Unitat de temperatura: Indicates whether the reading is in Celsius (℃) or Fahrenheit (℉).
  • Indicador de mode: Shows "Body" or "Surface" depending on the selected measurement mode.
  • Data Hold Icon: Appears when the reading is held on the screen.
  • Backlight Icon: Indicates if the backlight is active.

4.4 Conversió d'unitats (℃/℉)

To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉), press the "℃/℉" button located below the LCD display. The unit displayed next to the temperature reading will change accordingly.

To turn the LCD backlight on or off, press the light bulb icon button. This feature is useful for reading temperatures in low-light conditions.

4.6 Auto-off Function

The thermometer is equipped with an automatic power-off feature to conserve battery life. If no operation is performed for approximately 20 seconds, the device will automatically shut down.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja del termòmetre

To ensure accurate readings and prolong the life of your thermometer, regular cleaning is recommended:

  • Wipe the thermometer body with a soft, damp tela.
  • For the sensor lens, use a cotton swab lightly moistened with alcohol. Clean gently to avoid scratching.

When the battery icon on the display indicates low power, replace both AAA batteries following the instructions in Section 3.1. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.

Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity. Keep it out of reach of children.
