The Symcode barcode scanner offers flexible connectivity options for various devices.

The scanner supports two primary connection methods: 2.4G Wireless and USB 2.0 Wired.

The scanner can be connected via a USB cable for a wired connection or wirelessly using the included 2.4G USB receiver. The USB receiver is conveniently located at the bottom of the scanner's handle.

  • While the scanner supports common 1D formats, some specific barcode variations (e.g., certain 17-digit ISBNs on paperbacks) may require specific configuration or firmware updates. Contact Symcode support if you encounter consistent issues with particular barcode types.
• Compatibility with POS Systems (Square, Shopify, Clover):
  • This barcode scanner is generally not compatible with Square, Shopify, or Clover POS systems for direct integration. It functions as a keyboard wedge, meaning it inputs scanned data as if typed by a keyboard. Compatibility depends on whether the POS software can accept keyboard input for barcode scanning.
