The WAVLINK AC600 is a high-power outdoor wireless device designed for robust performance in various weather conditions. It features dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible deployment.

• Port WAN/LAN: Used for connecting to your router/modem or other network devices. Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE).

4. Instal·lació i configuració

4.1 Instal·lació física

1. Col·loca les antenes: Carefully screw the two detachable antennas onto their respective ports on the extender unit. Ensure they are finger-tight.
2. Lloc de muntatge: Choose an outdoor location that provides optimal signal coverage and is protected from direct heavy impact. The device can be mounted on a pole or wall using the provided mounting straps. Ensure the device is positioned vertically with antennas pointing upwards.
3. Posada a terra: Connect a grounding wire (not included) to the GND terminal on the device and to a proper electrical ground. This is crucial for lightning protection.

   • Pass the RJ45 Ethernet cable through the bottom spiral cover, then the rubber seal, and finally the upper spiral cover.
   • Connect the RJ45 cable to the WAN/LAN port on the extender unit.
   • Screw the upper and bottom spiral covers tightly to ensure a waterproof seal.
   • Connect the other end of the RJ45 cable to the "PoE" port on the PoE converter.
   • Connect another Ethernet cable from the "LAN" port of the PoE converter to your router/modem or directly to your computer for initial setup.
5. Encès: Connect the power adapter to the PoE converter and plug it into an electrical outlet. The Power LED on the extender should illuminate.

4.2 Configuració inicial

1. Ensure your computer is connected to the LAN port of the PoE converter (or directly to the extender if in AP mode).

5.1 AP/Router Mode

In this mode, the extender acts as a primary access point or router, creating a new wireless network. It connects to your modem or router via an Ethernet cable and broadcasts a Wi-Fi signal for client devices.

5.2 Mode de repetidor

The extender wirelessly connects to an existing Wi-Fi network and re-broadcasts it, extending the coverage area. This mode is ideal for eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.

5.3 AP+Repeater Mode

This mode combines the functionalities of an Access Point and a Repeater. It can connect to an existing network wirelessly and also create a new access point, potentially extending the range further or providing a separate network segment.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your outdoor WiFi extender.
