This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective operation of your InnoGIO GIOsimply Infrared Fever Thermometer, Model GIO-500. 4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu la tapa del compartiment de les piles al mànec del termòmetre.
2. Slide or open the cover according to the indicator.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as marked inside the compartment.
4. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

Nota: The package includes 2 AAA batteries.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. Encès / apagat

Press the measurement button (usually located on the handle) to turn on the thermometer. The device will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2. Selecting Measurement Mode (Body/Object)

The thermometer typically has two measurement modes: Body Mode and Object/Environment Mode. Refer to the symbols on the LCD display (e.g., a human icon for body, a house icon for object) to identify the current mode. Press the mode selection button (often labeled with a symbol like 'M' or a mode icon) to switch between these modes.

5.3. Taking a Temperature Measurement

1. For Body Temperature: Ensure the thermometer is in Body Mode. Point the thermometer at the center of the forehead from a distance of approximately 3-5 cm (1.2-2 inches). Press and release the measurement button. The temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen within a second.
2. For Object/Environment Temperature: Ensure the thermometer is in Object Mode. Point the thermometer at the object or area whose temperature you wish to measure. Press and release the measurement button. The temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Important: For accurate body temperature readings, ensure the forehead is clean and free from hair or sweat. Allow the thermometer to acclimatize to room temperature for at least 15-20 minutes before use if it has been stored in a significantly different temperature.

5.4. Switching Temperature Units (°C/°F)

To switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F), locate the unit conversion button (often labeled '°C/°F'). Press this button while the device is on to toggle between the two units. The selected unit will be indicated on the LCD display.

5.5. Memory Function (if applicable)

This thermometer may store previous temperature readings. Consult the specific button labels or symbols on your device for accessing memory. Typically, a 'MEM' button or similar is used to review mesures passades.

6.1. Cleaning the Thermometer

6.2. Emmagatzematge

Store the thermometer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, dust, and extreme temperatures. If not in use for an extended period, remove the batteries.
