Configuració i primer ús
- Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge de la cafetera.
- Neteja: Wash the glass carafe, lid, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Primer cicle d'elaboració (netja):
- Fill the water reservoir with cold water up to the 8-cup mark.

- Plug the coffee maker into an electrical outlet.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start a brew cycle.
- Allow the full cycle to complete. Discard the water from the carafe.
- Repeat this process once more with fresh water to ensure thorough cleaning.
Instruccions de funcionament
Elaboració de cafè
- Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with cold, fresh water to the desired level, using the water level indicator. Do not exceed the 8-cup maximum.
- Afegeix el marc de cafè: Place a paper filter (cone-shaped) or the permanent filter into the filter basket. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. A general guideline is one tablespoon of ground coffee per cup, but adjust to your taste.

- Posició de la garrafa: Ensure the filter basket is properly seated and close the lid. Place the empty glass carafe with its lid on the warming plate.
- Comença a fer cervesa: Plug the coffee maker into an electrical outlet. Press the ON/OFF button. The indicator light will illuminate, and the brewing process will begin.
- Servir: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to a 'keep warm' mode. You can remove the carafe to pour coffee. The warming plate will keep the coffee hot for a period before automatically shutting off.

Setting the Clock and Programmed Brewing
- Estableix l'hora actual: Plug in the coffee maker. The digital display will flash. Press the HOUR button to set the hour (note AM/PM indicator). Press the MINUTE button to set the minutes. The clock is now set.
- Program Auto Brew Time:
- Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described above (water, coffee grounds, carafe in place).
- Press the PROGRAM button. The display will show 'PROGRAM' and flash.
- Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired time for brewing to start.
- Press the PROGRAM button again to confirm the setting. The 'PROGRAM' indicator will remain lit.

Neteja diària

- Wash the glass carafe, lid, and filter basket in warm, soapy water. These parts are generally top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.

- No submergiu mai la unitat principal de la cafetera en aigua ni en cap altre líquid.
Descalcificació (eliminació de dipòsits minerals)
Mineral deposits (calcium) can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have hard water.
- Ompliu el dipòsit d'aigua amb una barreja d'una part de vinagre blanc i dues parts d'aigua freda.
- Place a paper filter (without coffee grounds) in the filter basket.
- Col·loqueu la garrafa buida al plat d'escalfament.
- Press the ON/OFF button to start a brew cycle. Allow half of the mixture to brew through, then press the ON/OFF button to pause the cycle.
- Let the coffee maker sit for 15-20 minutes to allow the vinegar solution to clean the internal components.

- Discard the vinegar solution from the carafe.
- Run 2-3 full cycles with fresh, cold water to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste or odor.
