Configuració i instal·lació

1. Prepare the Radiator: Ensure the existing valve is removed and the pipe connections are clean and free of debris.
2. Install the Thermostat Valve: Screw the Heimeier Calypso 1/2 inch thermostat valve into the flow pipe connection of the radiator. Use appropriate sealing materials (e.g., PTFE tape or hemp) to ensure a watertight connection.
3. Install the Return Screw Connection: Attach the corner-shaped return screw connection to the return pipe of the radiator. Again, ensure proper sealing.
4. Attach the Thermostatic Head: Once the valve body is securely installed, align the thermostatic head (M30 x 1.5) with the valve body. Screw the head onto the valve body until it is hand-tight. Do not overtighten.

Instruccions de funcionament

The thermostatic head allows you to set the desired room temperature. The markings on the head correspond to different temperature ranges:

• Snowflake Symbol (Frost Protection): Approximately 6 °C. Prevents the room from freezing.
• Settings 1 to 5: Correspond to increasing temperatures, typically from 12 °C to 28 °C. Each number represents an approximate temperature setting.

To adjust the temperature, simply rotate the thermostatic head to the desired setting. The head will automatically regulate the hot water flow to maintain the selected room temperature.

The IMI HEIMEIER Thermostatic Head and Valve Set requires minimal maintenance. Regular checks can ensure optimal performance:
