2. Informació de seguretat

- Change your PIN and register fingerprints/RF cards immediately after installation to ensure security.
- The lock is designed for normal fire doors with a thickness of 40mm to 80mm. Ensure your door meets these specifications.

5. Instal·lació
Before installation, ensure your door is compatible with the lock. Refer to the compatibility chart below. Professional installation is recommended.

- Ensure you have all necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, measuring tape, etc.).

- Prepareu la porta segons la plantilla proporcionada.
- Install the mortise into the door edge.
- Connect the cables from the exterior unit to the interior unit.
- Mount the exterior and interior units, securing them with screws.

6. Instruccions de funcionament
The COMMAX CDL-88PBio offers multiple access methods for convenience and security.

6.1. Accés amb codi PIN
- Setting PIN: Refer to the programming section in the full manual for initial PIN setup.
- Desbloqueig: Touch the keypad to activate, enter your 4-12 digit PIN, and press * or # (depending on model/setting).
- Dummy PIN Function: To prevent PIN exposure, you can enter random numbers before or after your actual PIN. For example, [Random Numbers] + [Your PIN] + [Random Numbers].
6.2. Accés per empremta digital
- Registre d'empremtes dactilars: Follow the programming instructions to register up to 100 fingerprints.
- Desbloqueig: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor until the lock unlocks.
6.3. RF Card Access
- Registering RF Cards: Up to 100 RF cards can be registered. Refer to the programming guide.
- Desbloqueig: Place a registered RF card against the card reader area on the exterior unit.
6.4. Mechanical Key Access

8. Solució De Problemes

- El pany no respon:
- Check if batteries are depleted. Replace all 8 AA batteries.
- If batteries are dead, use a 9V emergency battery to power the lock temporarily.
- Empremta digital no reconeguda:

- Try placing your finger in different positions on the sensor.
- Re-register your fingerprint if the issue persists.
- El codi PIN no funciona:
- Ensure you are entering the correct PIN.
- Try using the dummy PIN function.
- If multiple incorrect attempts are made, the lock may temporarily disable the keypad. Wait a few minutes.
