Configuració

1. Attaching the Shock Mount

The shock mount is designed to isolate the microphone from vibrations and handling noise. Attach the VM20 microphone to the shock mount by gently sliding it into the clips. Ensure it is securely seated. The shock mount can then be mounted onto a camera's hot shoe or a tripod via its 1/4-inch screw thread.

3. Attaching Wind Protection

For outdoor recording or in windy conditions, attach the provided wind muff or windscreen to reduce wind noise and plosives.

• Parabrisa: Slide the foam windscreen over the microphone head for basic wind protection.
• Wind Muff (Dead Cat): For more effective wind noise reduction, especially in strong winds, slide the furry wind muff over the windscreen.

4. Càrrega del micròfon

The VM20 has a built-in rechargeable lithium battery. To charge, connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the microphone's USB-C port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., power adapter, computer, power bank).

• The OLED display will show the charging status.
• A full charge provides up to 60 hours of operation.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Encendre/apagar

Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 2 seconds to turn the microphone on or off. The OLED display will illuminate upon power-on.

The VM20 features a stepless gain adjustment dial. Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the microphone's input sensitivity. Adjust the gain to achieve optimal audio levels without distortion.

3. Low-Cut Filter Modes

The microphone offers two low-cut filter modes (75Hz and 150Hz) to reduce low-frequency noise such as rumble, air conditioning hum, or traffic sounds. Press the Low-Cut Filter Button to cycle through the modes:

4. OLED Display Monitoring

The integrated OLED display provides real-time information:

Manteniment

1. Neteja

  • Check for electromagnetic interference from other electronic devices; try moving the microphone away from them.
