Introducció

The Universal Audio Apollo x8p Heritage Edition is a professional audio interface designed for engineers and producers. This section provides instructions for setting up your Apollo x8p Heritage Edition audio interface.

1. Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully remove the Apollo x8p from its packaging. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all included accessories are present.

4. Connexions d'àudio

Connect your microphones, line-level instruments, and studio monitors to the appropriate inputs and outputs on the Apollo x8p. The unit features multiple mic/line inputs, line outputs, and monitor outputs. Refer to the rear panel diagram for specific port locations.

1. Encès i apagat

After all connections are made and software is installed, press the "POWER" button on the front panel to turn on the Apollo x8p. The front panel meters and indicators will illuminate. To power off, press the "POWER" button again.

2. UAD Console Application

The UAD Console application is the primary control interface for your Apollo x8p. It allows you to manage inputs, outputs, monitor levels, and insert UAD Powered Plug-Ins in real-time. Launch the Console application from your computer's applications folder.

3. Real-time UAD Processing

The Apollo x8p's HEXA Core processing allows you to run UAD Powered Plug-Ins with near-zero latency. This is ideal for tracking with classic compressor, EQ, and reverb emulations. These plug-ins can also be used within your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) for mixing and mastering.

4. LUNA Recording System Integration

For Mac users, the Apollo x8p is fully integrated with the LUNA Recording System. LUNA provides a complete recording environment with built-in analog summing, tape emulation, and real-time UAD processing, offering a seamless workflow for music production.

Manteniment

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Apollo x8p.

Connectivity Problems (Thunderbolt)
