Instal·lació

Your Feit Electric Smart Doorbell Camera offers flexible installation options, including battery-powered and hardwired setups. Ensure you have all necessary components before beginning.

1. Prepare the Doorbell and Mounting Bracket

1. Remove the mounting bracket from the top of the doorbell unit.
2. If using an SD card (up to 128GB supported, purchased separately for local storage and video playback), insert it into the card slot located on the doorbell unit at this time.

Choose between screw mounting or double-sided tape mounting.

1. If hardwiring, feed the existing doorbell wires through the bracket before mounting.
2. Align the mounting bracket with the desired wall position and mark the screw positions with a pencil.
3. If installing into drywall, insert the provided mounting anchors into the marked positions.
4. Use the mounting screws to securely attach the bracket to the wall.

Double-Sided Tape Mounting:

1. Clean the mounting area thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.
2. Apply the provided double-sided tape to the back of the mounting bracket.
3. Peel off the protective backing from the tape and firmly press the bracket onto a flat surface on the wall.

3. Powering the Doorbell

The doorbell can be powered by its internal battery pack or hardwired to an existing doorbell system (12-24 Volt VAC power).

2. Slide the smart video doorbell unit down onto the mounted bracket.
3. Press the battery compartment up into the smart video doorbell unit until it locks securely into place.

Hardwired Installation (12-24 Volt VAC):

WARNING: To avoid fire, shock, or death, turn off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse and test to be sure power is off before wiring.

1. Shut off power to your doorbell at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
2. Attach your existing doorbell wires to the external power port on the back of your smart video doorbell. If your existing doorbell wires are too short, use the provided wire extenders and wire terminal block.
3. Tighten the terminal screws with a screwdriver to secure the connections.
4. Slide the smart video doorbell unit down onto the mounted bracket.
5. Press the battery compartment up into the smart video doorbell unit until it locks securely into place.

Setup (App Connection)

To connect your Feit Electric Smart Doorbell Camera to your smartphone, follow these steps:

   • Wait for the doorbell to emit a connection tone (a beep).
   • Once you hear the beep, tap "I heard the beep" in the app to begin the pairing process.
6. Finalització:
   • The app will display a confirmation screen once the connection is successful.
   • Tap "Done" to complete the setup.
7. Alternative EZ Mode Connection: If QR code pairing fails, you can switch to "EZ Mode" in the upper right corner of the app's device setup screen and follow the on-screen instructions.

Operating Your Smart Doorbell Camera

Once connected, you can access and control your doorbell camera through the Feit Electric app. Features may vary slightly by camera model.
