1. Informació important de seguretat

There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.

• Agafeu l'eina per superfícies de presa aïllades when performing an operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and could give the operator an electric shock.
• Utilitzeu clamps to support the workpiece whenever possible. If you are supporting the workpiece by hand, you must hold the workpiece with one hand and the saw with the other.
• Mantingueu les mans allunyades de la zona de tall i de la fulla. Mantingueu la segona mà a la nansa auxiliar o a la carcassa del motor. Si les dues mans agafen la serra, no es poden tallar amb la fulla.
• No arribeu a sota de la peça de treball. El protector no us pot protegir de la fulla sota la peça de treball.
• Ajusteu la profunditat de tall al gruix de la peça de treball. Menys d'una dent sencera de la fulla ha de ser visible per sota de la peça de treball.
• Never hold the workpiece in your hands or across your leg while cutting. Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It is important to support the workpiece properly to minimize body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.

2. Producte acabatview

The DEXTER Circular Saw is a powerful tool designed for cutting various materials such as wood, metal, and plastic, depending on the blade used. It features a 1300W motor and a no-load speed of 5800 RPM.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació i extracció de la fulla

1. Assegureu-vos que la serra estigui desendollada de la font d'alimentació.
2. Premeu i manteniu premut el botó de bloqueig del fus per evitar que la fulla giri.
3. Using the provided hex key, loosen the blade retaining screw. Note that this screw may have a left-hand thread, meaning you turn it clockwise to loosen.
4. Traieu amb cura la brida exterior i la fulla antiga.
5. Clean any dust or debris from the blade flanges and the spindle.
6. Place the new 185mm blade onto the spindle, ensuring the teeth are pointing in the direction of rotation indicated by the arrow on the saw's guard.
7. Replace the outer flange and tighten the blade retaining screw firmly with the hex key. Do not overtighten.

3.2 Ajust de la profunditat de tall

The cutting depth can be adjusted for different material thicknesses. For optimal safety and cutting performance, the blade should extend approximately 3-6mm (1/8"-1/4") below the workpiece.

1. Assegureu-vos que la serra estigui desendollada de la font d'alimentació.
2. Locate the depth adjustment lever/knob at the rear of the machine.
3. Loosen the lever/knob.
4. Raise or lower the saw base plate to achieve the desired cutting depth. Use the depth scale for reference.
5. Tighten the lever/knob securely to lock the depth setting.

3.3 Adjusting Bevel Angle (Cutting Angle)

La serra permet talls en bisell de fins a 45 graus.

1. Assegureu-vos que la serra estigui desendollada de la font d'alimentació.
2. Locate the bevel adjustment lever/knob.
3. Loosen the lever/knob.
4. Tilt the saw base plate to the desired angle (between 0 and 45 degrees). Use the angle scale for reference.
5. Tighten the lever/knob securely to lock the angle setting.

3.4 Attaching the Parallel Guide

La guia paral·lela ajuda a fer talls rectes i paral·lels a la vora de la peça de treball.

1. Slide the parallel guide into the slot on the front of the saw's base plate.
2. Ajusteu la guia a l'amplada de tall desitjada.
3. Tighten the locking screw to secure the parallel guide in place.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Abans de començar

• Utilitzeu sempre l'equip de protecció individual (EPI) adequat, incloent-hi protecció ocular, protecció auditiva i guants.
• Assegureu-vos que la peça de treball estigui ben ferma clamped or supported to prevent movement during cutting.
• Check that the blade is sharp, clean, and correctly installed.
• Verify that the cutting depth and angle adjustments are securely locked.
• Connect the dust extractor adapter to a suitable vacuum cleaner to manage sawdust and debris.

4.2 Fer un tall

1. Connecteu la serra a una presa de corrent adequada.
2. Position the front edge of the saw's base plate on the workpiece, ensuring the blade is clear of the material.
3. To start the saw, press the safety lock-off button (if present) and then squeeze the trigger switch. Allow the blade to reach full speed before engaging the material.
4. Slowly and steadily push the saw forward through the workpiece. Maintain a firm grip with both hands.
5. Do not force the saw; let the blade do the work. Excessive force can lead to kickback or poor cut quality.
6. As the cut progresses, the lower blade guard will retract automatically. Ensure it closes fully after the cut is complete.

5. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your DEXTER Circular Saw.

5.1 Neteja

• Desconnecteu sempre l'eina abans de netejar-la.
• Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove sawdust and debris from the motor vents, blade guard, and base plate.
• Do not use solvents or harsh chemicals, as these can damage plastic parts.
• Ensure the lower blade guard moves freely and is not obstructed by debris.

5.2 Cura de la fulla

• Inspect the blade regularly for sharpness, cracks, or missing teeth. Replace damaged or dull blades immediately.
