This porch lantern is designed for easy wall mounting to standard junction boxes. Ensure the mounting surface is secure and can support the fixture's weight.

To test during daylight, cover the photocell sensor completely to simulate darkness; the light should turn on. Uncover it, and the light should turn off after a short delay.
