4. Configuració

Before operating your IKRA ILH 3000A shredder, follow these steps for proper assembly and setup.

2. Muntatge de rodes: Attach the axle and wheels to the shredder's frame. This process is quick and typically requires minimal tools (often included). Ensure wheels are securely fastened.
3. Collection Bin Placement: Slide the 60-liter collection bin into its designated position beneath the shredder unit. Ensure it clicks securely into place, activating the integrated safety switch. The shredder will not operate if the bin is not correctly seated.

4. Posicionament: Place the shredder on a firm, level, and stable surface in your garden or work area. Ensure there is ample space around the machine for safe operation and material handling.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your IKRA ILH 3000A shredder.

1. Preparació:
   • Ensure the collection bin is empty and correctly installed.
   • Wear all necessary personal protective equipment, including safety glasses.
   • Prepare the material to be shredded. The shredder can handle branches up to 44 mm in diameter. Remove any foreign objects like metal, stones, or plastic.

   • Press the green START button on the control panel. The shredder will begin operating.

   • Avoid forcing material into the shredder. Allow the automatic feeding mechanism to work.
4. Clearing Blockages (Automatic Reverse):
   • If branches become jammed in the roller, the shredder features an automatic reverse function that will attempt to clear the blockage by reversing the roller direction.
   • If the blockage persists, press the red STOP button, disconnect the power, and carefully clear the obstruction manually following the maintenance guidelines.
5. Adjusting Roller Clearance:
   • The shredder has an adjustment knob to fine-tune the clearance of the roller mechanism. Adjust this for optimal shredding results depending on the type and dryness of the material. Turning the knob clockwise typically reduces clearance for finer shredding, and counter-clockwise increases it.
6. Stopping the Shredder:
   • To stop the shredder, press the red STOP button on the control panel.
   • Always disconnect the shredder from the power supply after use and before any cleaning or maintenance.
7. Emptying the Collection Bin:
   • Monitor the collection bin level. When full, stop the shredder, disconnect power, and carefully remove the bin.
