3. Configuració

3.1 Connexió física

The Kamvas 12 offers two connection methods:

  1. Ús del cable 3 en 1: Connect the 3-in-1 cable to the tablet, then connect the HDMI and USB-A ends to your computer. Plug the power adapter into the power cable.
  2. Using the USB-C to USB-C Cable: Connect the USB-C to USB-C cable directly to the tablet and a compatible computer or Android device. Ensure your device supports USB3.1 GEN1 and Displayport1.2 or higher. The power adapter may still be required for sufficient power.

3.2 Instal·lació del controlador

Before using the tablet, install the latest driver from the official HUION website. Ensure any previous tablet drivers are uninstalled to prevent conflicts. Follow the on-screen instructions during installation.

3.3 Compatibilitat amb dispositius Android

The Kamvas 12 supports connection to certain Android devices (USB3.1 GEN1, Displayport1.2 or higher). A USB-C to USB-C cable is included for this purpose. Please note that iPhone and iPad devices are not supported.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Pen Usage (PW517)

The included PW517 pen is battery-free, eliminating the need for charging. It features 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and ±60° tilt recognition for precise and natural drawing. The pen tip sinking has been improved to 3.5mm for a more comfortable drawing experience.

4.2 Customizable Shortcut Keys

The Kamvas 12 is equipped with 8 customizable shortcut keys on the side. These keys can be assigned to various functions within your preferred drawing software to enhance workflow efficiency.

4.3 Menú de visualització en pantalla (OSD)

To access the OSD menu, press and hold the K4 and K5 keys simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. The menu allows for display adjustments and settings.

  • K2: Back (Cancel)

  • K7: Menu Operation (Down/Decrease)

4.5 Full Lamination Display

The full lamination technology reduces parallax between the pen tip and the cursor, providing a more precise and natural drawing experience, as if drawing directly on the screen.

4.6 Anti-Glare Film

The anti-glare film reduces reflections from ambient light, making the screen easier to view and reducing eye strain during prolonged use. It also helps to minimize fingerprints.

4.7 Pen Tablet Mode

The Kamvas 12 can also function as a pen tablet without displaying content on its screen. To switch to pen tablet mode, turn off the display by pressing the power button, then connect the USB-C to USB-C cable. The pen will still respond to your movements on the tablet surface.

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja del dispositiu

Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the screen and body of the tablet. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the display or surface.

Color calibration may be necessary. Adjust the color settings through your computer's display settings or the tablet's OSD menu. While complete color matching can be challenging across different displays, adjustments can improve consistency.
