5. Configuració

5.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria a la part inferior del monitor.
2. Introduïu les 4 piles AAA seguint els indicadors de polaritat (+ i -) que hi ha a l'interior del compartiment.
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

Alternatively, the device can be powered via a Type-C USB cable (not included) connected to a compatible power source.

5.2. Connexió del maneguet

1. Locate the air tube connector on the side of the monitor.
2. Introduïu fermament el tap del tub d'aire del maneguet al port connector fins que encaixi al seu lloc.
3. Assegureu-vos que la connexió estigui ben fixada per evitar fuites d'aire durant la mesura.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1. Preparació per a la mesura

• Eviteu menjar, beure alcohol, fumar, fer exercici i banyar-se durant 30 minuts abans de la mesura.
• Rest for at least 5-10 minutes before taking a measurement.
• Sit in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor. Do not cross your legs.
• Col·loca el braç sobre una superfície plana de manera que el maneguet quedi a l'alçada del cor.
• Traieu-vos la roba cenyida de la part superior del braç.

6.2. Aplicació del braç

1. Unroll the cuff and pass the end through the metal ring to form a loop. The smooth cloth surface should be on the inside of the loop.
2. Feu lliscar el braç esquerre per la llaçada del maniguet. El tub d'aire ha de baixar per la part interior del braç.
3. Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow joint. The artery mark on the cuff should align with your brachial artery (on the inside of your arm).
4. Tighten the cuff around your arm using the Velcro closure. Ensure it is snug but not too tight; you should be able to insert two fingertips underneath the cuff.

6.3. Prendre una mesura

1. Press the "START/STOP" button. The cuff will automatically inflate, and the measurement will begin.
2. Remain still and silent during the measurement. Do not talk or move your arm.
3. Un cop finalitzada la mesura, el maneguet es desinflarà i la pressió sistòlica, la pressió diastòlica i la freqüència cardíaca es mostraran a la pantalla.
4. If the voice broadcast function is enabled, the results will be announced.
5. The measurement will automatically be stored in the selected user's memory.
6. Press "START/STOP" again to turn off the device, or it will automatically power off after a period of inactivity.

6.4. Switching User Modes

The device supports two users (User 1 and User 2), each with independent memory storage.

1. Before taking a measurement, press the "SET" button to toggle between User 1 and User 2. The active user icon will be displayed on the screen.
2. All subsequent measurements will be stored under the selected user profile.

6.5. Recuperació de registres de memòria

1. With the device off, press the "MEM" button to enter memory recall mode.
2. Repeatedly press the "MEM" button to cycle through previous measurements for the currently selected user.
3. A view the other user's records, first switch the user mode using the "SET" button, then enter memory recall.

7. Comprensió dels resultats

La pantalla mostra tres valors principals:

7.1. Irregular Heartbeat Detection (IHB)

If the device detects an irregular heartbeat during measurement, an IHB symbol (often a heart icon with wavy lines) will appear on the display. This indicates that a pulse rhythm inconsistent with a normal heartbeat was detected. If this symbol appears frequently, consult your physician.

• Clean the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
• Store the device in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
